After gaining podium victories in the opening round, Cleanfuel-Motul Racing Team is ready to hit the tracks again with more wins.
Cleanfuel-Motul Racing Team Manager Marco Atienza said that “aside from readying the duo of Ryo Yamada and Dominic Roque from their rivals in the Pro Class, they are also prepping their game play on how to stay on top of their game.”
“Right now, our focus is to take the lead as early as possible and to stay far from wheel-to-wheel action. We saw in the last race that we can do it, so it’s a matter of execution on our racers,” Atienza said.
Currently, the Formula V1 cars are ensured to be in top condition by their race mechanics, while test runs, and strategizing the attacks are still being re-studied.
Last May, Cleanfuel-Motul Racing Team provided the opening salvo by bagging two victories in the PRO Class division of the Formula V1 Series, one of the premier motorsports events in the country.
“We will be more than ready for the second round. We are hungrier, wiser and more vicious in the track for the next race,” Atienza added.
During the first round of 2019 Formula V1 Challenge in Batangas Racing Circuit, Yamada bested 16 cars during the first and second race.
The second round races is slated July 20 and 21 at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.
